PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT AND READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION.  COMPLYING WITH THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPHS WILL ENABLE US TO PROVIDE YOU WITH THE BEST POSSIBLE SERVICE:

Mowing Service:   Includes mowing, edging, line trimming and power blowing the clippings off sidewalks and driveway.  It does not include leaf cleanup, bed weeding or bush trimming.  Please order a Landscape Cleanup if you need additional services.  To qualify for our “Weekly” or “Bi-Weekly” mowing service, there is a 5 service minimum.  If you cancel before we provide 5 services, a fee of $45 will be billed.

Mowing Service Seasonal Renewal –  To ensure you receive seamless mowing service for your home and that your lawn receives the services it needs to look its best, your mowing service will continue until you notify us to cancel/stop your service.  You will receive an email confirmation of your cancellation once it has been processed.

Locks on Gates – Most clients provide us with their gate combination.  However, if you choose not to provide us with the combo, it is your responsibility to unlock the gates by 7:00am on your service day.  In the event the crew is delayed because of weather or some other unforeseen event, your service will be provided as soon as possible/weather permits.   If you would like to re-lock your gate at night, feel free to do so after 8:00pm, however please make sure to unlock your gate again the next morning by 7:00am.  Because we’re in certain areas on certain days, if you forget to unlock your gate(s), but would like us to send a crew back out for $10/tax, please let us know and we will do our best to work you back into our schedule.  Since there are 100’s of different lock opening variations, we highly recommend you use a Gold Masterlock with the 4 digits that line up on the bottom of the lock.  Click HERE for a picture of the lock we recommend.

Automatic Sprinkler Systems – Occasionally the crew might accidentally break one of your sprinkler heads.  If the crew does not repair it immediately, please contact us within 24 hours so we can schedule the repairs at no cost to you.

Rain/Holidays – We follow a strict schedule and do not “take off” when it lightly rains or on holidays.  However, in the event of severe weather, our crews could be delayed, usually only 1 day at the most.  You must contact us if you think your yard is too wet and you would like us to skip your service until your next scheduled visit.

24 Hour Guarantee / Complaints – If you are not 100% satisfied with a service or think we did not show up, please contact us within 24 hours and we will send our crew back to redo the service at no additional charge.  Otherwise, we consider the work has been done to your satisfaction.   If you notice a problem after 24 hours, please let us know so we can get it corrected for the next service.

Definition of a “Man Hour” – A unit of production equal to the work one person can produce in one hour.

Low Voltage Lighting – Because most low voltage lighting systems (i.e. Malibu Lights) are not installed properly (Wires not buried to recommended specs, etc.) and because they are usually made out of plastic that becomes brittle over time, we DO NOT assume any responsibility for damage that might/will occur.  You accept this provision if you hire us to provide your service.

Billing – The credit/debit card you provided when you placed your order will be charged after your service is provided.  Charges will be clearly shown on your credit/debit cards statement and therefore no receipt will be mailed.  If you need a description of the charges, please contact us the day after the service is provided and we will be happy to email you a detailed receipt.  If you believe we made a billing error, please CONTACT US DIRECTLY (972-424-8873 or office@terraturf.com ) so we can research the matter and correct the error immediately.

Warranty – All material is guaranteed to be as specified.  All work to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices.  All agreements contingent upon strikes, accidents or delay beyond the control of Terra Turf Landscaping.  Contractor reserves the right to furnish substitute plants of equal or greater value in cases where designated plants are not available.

All plants, trees and SOD have a 90 day replacement guarantee provided that an automatic irrigation system is installed and working properly.  Plants not provided by Terra Turf but chosen/provided by the customer will not be covered under warranty.  We will provide warranty replacement one time.  Warranty replacements will not be performed until contract has been paid in full.  Warranty is void if payment is not made in full by the due date.

Exception To Warranty:  A. Acts of nature; B. Damage incurred by humans, pests or animals; C. Water and/or electrical source terminated by acts other than contractor; D. Improper maintenance and/or watering schedule.

Contractor makes no warranty express or implied, unless specifically stated in the agreement.

Sales Tax – The state requires we collect sales tax on lawn care and landscaping services.  Click HERE for more information.

Cancellations/Skips–  Please contact us via email at: office@terraturf.com or by phone (972-424-8873) at least 24 hours before your scheduled service date if you would like to cancel/skip a service.  This not only allows us to properly remove you from our routes but also enables us to fill your time slot with another job.  Cancellations for a Monday service must be received before 5:00pm the previous Friday.
