Rye grass is a cool season grass which is available in both perennial and annual forms. Rye grass is great way to have a deep emerald, green lawn through the winter months by overseeding during the early fall.

Rye grass will of course look fantastic while hosting holiday parties, but it is also very beneficial to help control erosion for areas that your warm season grass did not get established during the summer. We will scalp your warm season grass and then use a drop spreader to apply the seeds. You will need to water 2X/day for approx. 14 days while the seed is germinating. Once the seed is established, you can resume your normal watering schedule. Rye grass will need to be mowed weekly throughout the winter months.
